Riverwise Writing Workshop: How To Write Like Yourself

March 14 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm

A two-part series for anyone interested in learning how to mine for story ideas and introduce their unique voice to local, national, or personal publications. Imani Nixon will help us answer the question, “How do we counteract the relative ‘whiteness’ of local newsroom by honoring and inviting diverse perspectives to join in?”

This is a free event. A light lunch will be served.

The Riverwise Writing Workshop was made possible by a Detroit Journalism Engagement Fund (DJEF) grant from the The Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan with additional funding provided by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation and the Ford Foundation.
