The Color of Surveillance: A Political Education Event

November 29 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm

It’s more than just coffee shops and trendy stores suddenly popping up in the hood. There are also security cameras and a lot of them. Are they making us safer? Or are they just the most recent installment of a long history of surveilling Black and Brown communities?

Please join the Detroit Chapter of #BYP100, for an interactive discussion of the history of surveillance in our community, and radical alternatives for keeping us safe. Food will be served, along with some great food for thought! Come thru!!
