Katy Nightingale (she/they) is a semi-nomadic woman of Western European immigrant descent who grew up in the Great Lakes region. On her travels she has learned from resistance movements in Turtle Island, Palestine, Myanmar, the UK, Kurdistan, Ukraine and Aotearoa New Zealand. Her linocut prints speak to the tension between what is and what could be – between the social structures that confine us and the liberation we’re capable of creating together. In the process of carving away what doesn’t belong, keeping what matters, Katy hopes to remind everyone that Another World is Possible.
