Sally’s parents had mobile devices to do their business daily.
Mommy and daddy were always busy and this drove Sally crazy.
I want you to come and play with me but you always say, “I am too busy, baby”
Memories of what play time use to be were sort of getting hazy
Then one day Sally’s mommy had a big surprise.
Since Sally was a big girl she could have her own device.
Sally pushed all the buttons and made a few calls.
Then she spoke of important business as she paced through the halls.
And mommy and daddy found peace at last.
That is until they tried to take it away before Sally’s bath
And like this it went.
Sally was on the phone every second she spent
She got too busy for her mommy.
Too professional for her daddy.
It was not a good time to play.
“Productivity is doing badly”.
Sally would say.
Then she would shoo her parents away.
They would look at each other
Together they would say
“What in the world have we done to our little girl?”
For Sally did not play
She was busy being productive
Giving orders on her phone.
Pushing the buttons.
Opening apps and checking emails.
Too busy for books or going out as well.
Then one day mommy took Sally’s phone.
She said it is time to go play, we are leaving our home
And for the first time Sally got to witness
Mommy and daddy dressed for play.
Not suited up for business
