I wish we could gather the guns and the steel,
The bombs that we build and the pain that we feel,
Toss it all out in the depths of the sea—
Let silence return where the war used to be.
No more commands from a suit in a room,
That sends out the fire and calls it our doom.
Back to the days where a fight meant a scar,
Not children erased by a drone from afar.
Let’s drop the missiles and bury the blades,
Torch every weapon that history made.
If war must exist, then give us the risk—
Just face to face, and back to the sticks.
No mushroom clouds, no satellites high,
No death in the dark with no time to cry.
Make power a whisper, not thunder that kills,
Let peace be the rebel that bends all our wills.
I’m tired of flags that are soaked in the cost,
Of leaders who gamble with lives that are lost.
I’d rather be broken than brutal and blind—
I’d rather lose battles than lose humankind.
Give me a world where the weapons are words,
Where justice is louder than bombs ever heard.
Where fists might be raised, but not to destroy—
Just hands building homes, or lifting a boy.
So gather the tools that we used to oppress,
And trade them for healing, forgiveness, and rest.
Return to a time where we fought with our pride—
Not numbers and nukes and the millions who died.
Let’s fight with our hearts, not digital tricks—
If we must clash, then take us back to sticks.
